TrigPoint was engaged by a marketing agency to help develop a strategy to broaden their client base and grow the business by £1.5M over a short period. Through a combination of individual and team coaching, plus organisational and strategy development work, the agency has now a better balanced portfolio of clients, a healthy new business base and has implemented a new clarity of direction and structure. It is well on the way to hitting its target, having achieved a 100% strike rate in five pitches, hot on the heels of the work completed.

A client in north-east England approached TrigPoint for advice with developing a strategy to extend from manufacturing into direct retailing. Three stages were involved in the project, from assessment of the business case, to developing investment models and a proposition for external financing, to implementation of the plan. The new retail outlets will begin trading later this year, representing a successful diversification strategy.

A restaurant business wanted advice on how to develop its senior management to take on more responsibility and develop its leadership team. TrigPoint worked closely with the owners of the business to create a programme of individual and team coaching and business planning, which was rolled out through the company. As a result, profit and turnover increased by more than 10%.

TrigPoint was approached by a leading Midlands golf course and leisure centre to devise a strategy for its beer and drinks offering. We reviewed the range currently sold, wrote a comprehensive tender document and approached selected suppliers. TrigPoint managed the overall process of negotiation, analysed the economic benefits of each proposition and recommend an optimum solution. Over the next three years the deal is worth an additional £250,000 straight to the bottom line with an improvement in consumer appeal.
